Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026
This document explains what data Sharmony collects, why it is needed, who it is shared with and how long it is kept. We have described how things actually work rather than relying on generic wording.
What we collect
When you sign up and use the service, we store:
- your email address and an encrypted form of your password — the password is never stored in readable form and cannot be recovered;
- app settings: chosen model, communication styles, number of variants, hotkeys, interface language;
- favourite reply templates you saved yourself;
- named chats and their contents, if you created any;
- plan, payment and referral records;
- technical records of generations: which model was used, how long it took, how much of your allowance it consumed. Message text is not part of these records by default;
- messages sent through the feedback form;
- technical error logs from the application.
What happens to your message text
To prepare a reply, the message text is sent to a language model — this is how the service works. We use Google Gemini and DeepInfra in a mode where the data sent is not used to train the models.
General-chat text is not stored: it exists only while the request is processed and is never written to our database.
Named chats are stored — that is the point of the feature: the history is available both in the app and in the web version. They are kept for 90 days and then deleted. You can delete any chat earlier, by hand.
Separately: for a limited group of closed-testing participants and for administrators, the service may store request text to review answer quality, retained for 90 days. If you take part in such a programme, you are told separately.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. Sharing is limited to the providers the service cannot run without:
- Google (Gemini) and DeepInfra — processing text to generate replies and translations;
- NOWPayments — cryptocurrency payments. We never receive or store your wallet or card details;
- Resend — delivery of service email: sign-up confirmation, password recovery;
- Telegram — support requests: both those written to our support bot and those sent through the feedback form. The correspondence lives in Telegram, in a private working chat.
- Yandex Metrica — anonymous site traffic statistics: which pages were opened, where visitors came from, which buttons were clicked. Metrica uses cookies. Recording of page content and of typed input is switched off — the text of your messages is never sent to it.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept while the account exists. Named chats are kept for 90 days. Generation records are kept without message text and are used for allowance accounting and diagnostics. Payment records are kept as far as accounting requires.
When an account is deleted, the data associated with it is deleted, except what we are required to retain for accounting purposes.
Of a support conversation we keep only the numeric id of your Telegram account and a request number, so that a second message joins the first conversation instead of starting a new one. The text of requests and any files are never copied into a database of ours: they stay in Telegram. Writing to support needs no Sharmony account.
Your rights
At any time you can: view and change your account details in the cabinet, delete any named chat or template, request deletion of your account and associated data, and withdraw your consent to processing.
For any data-related request, contact us through the feedback form on the site.
Security
Connections to the service are encrypted. Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to support the service.
No service can guarantee absolute protection. We recommend using a password unique to Sharmony and not pasting in anything you would not be willing to entrust to an online service.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. We will announce significant changes inside the application.
